~Men hitting on you after knowing you for two seconds in stairwells of apartment buildings...
~Frigid cold weather...
~Instant rice, chicken nuggets, ramen and mashed potatoes...
Could it be? Yes, yes it is. I have returned to the land of frozen potato fields. I know who would have thought it? I was just coming for a weekend but it has turned into a week and a half visit. Insanity right? I forgot what it was like to be in a place where everyone seems to be hunting for a spouse and sizes you up for all time and eternity within the first few minutes of meeting you-down to whether or not your last names are compatable...
Yeah where else could I be other than here? I miss the warmth of Cedar City and don't think I will ever complain about the boys there again...anything has to be better than this. I remembered why I left here...even as I type this there is a guy across from me in the library watching me catching my eye and smiling-awkward much.
Girls over 21 are bitter and angry here, the boys try to be players...lmao. I mean they play 20 questions to get to know each other and fall in love over monopoly boards and think that discussing books like Twilight and the Harry Potter movies...is deep. No I am not lying
Am I sounding like a snob? Yes, yes I am. Do I care? No, no I don't. I prefer it this way. I will sit and read my Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith and let all of them enjoy their teen literature and "philosophies". I mean, watching the alternate ending to "I am Legend" and calling it gay does not mean you are deep or have good opinions. It means you recognize a crappy movie ending-hurrah for you. A seven year old can do it.
